A GIS and data engineering practice built for Idaho’s public agencies and the organisations that answer to them.
We build the parcel data, the warehouses, the compliance records and the reporting pipelines that public agencies run on — and we build them to survive audit, staff turnover, and somebody else picking them up two years from now.
Where the name comes from
A polder is land the Dutch took back from the water. Our founder was born on one — a working farm on ground that was seabed within living memory.
You do not get a polder from a good idea. You get one from survey, drainage, boundaries recorded precisely enough that they still hold generations later, and maintenance nobody notices until it stops. That is the same discipline this practice sells, applied to data instead of dirt.
How we work

No black boxes
Every component is explained — what it does, why it is there, and what happens if it changes. You should be able to defend our work to your board, your auditor, or your successor without calling us.
It tells you when it breaks
Every pipeline we build has logging, error capture and notification designed in from the start. The failure mode we design against is not a crash — it is a process that quietly stops working and nobody notices for a month.
Your source data stays yours
Findings, classifications and derived attributes go into new layers and new tables. We do not edit your system of record in place. If our analysis is wrong, nothing of yours was harmed by it.
Built to outlive us
Documented, self-contained, no proprietary dependency on us. Public agencies lose staff and change vendors. What we leave behind has to keep working when both of those happen.
